Join the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra on June 1 for “Mocktails and Masterpieces,” featuring theremin player Darryl Kubian.

Darryl is an accomplished musician whose compositions have been commissioned and performed by orchestras throughout North America. Kubian’s music embraces warm tonality and sweeping textures, and evokes an “open-hearted lyricism.” (New Jersey Star Ledger)  As a thereminist, he has performed as featured soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra of New York, and the Indianapolis Chamber  Orchestra.  As a violinist, he is a member of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and has performed in chamber collaborations in both the jazz and classical world.

Each Thursday evening at 6 pm, the ICO returns to YouTube and Facebook for a 20-minute program called “Mocktails and Masterpieces.” The programming will include video clips of ICO performances with background commentary for context.
